Bobst Gears Up for IADD•FSEA Odyssey

March 2007
ROSELAND, N.J.—Bobst Group North America will be exhibiting the latest in diecutting, foil stamping, and folding gluing technologies at the IADD•FSEA Odyssey in Milwaukee, Wis. During the May 2-4 event, Bobst will have representatives on hand at booth #317 and in the Techshop where the company will be displaying three of its machines—the SPanthera 106-LER Diecutter, SP 102-BMA Foilmaster, and the Mistral 110 A-2 CS Folder-gluer.

Bobst will share information on the company’s current technology, along with techniques and trends for increasing productivity and profitability. Bobst representatives and equipment will be participating in the training sessions held throughout the three day event including:
• Session 410—“Designing for Folding and Gluing Success,” in which Bobst Group North America, PCR Technical Service Manager Yvan Magni will discuss how to improve folder-gluer productivity by starting upstream.

In booth #317, attendees will have the opportunity to view Bobst InTouch, the on-line direct customer connection. The goal of Bobst InTouch is to make customer service as easy and convenient as possible. With InTouch customers can check parts availability, receive instant pricing, order parts and track parts orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Bobst will also feature the Angle Lock Blanking system. Angle Lock is designed for in-house manufacturing of lower precision blanking tools at a reduced cost by utilizing reusable components.

Bobst will be performing live demonstrations of its diecutting, hot-foil stamping, embossing, folding, and gluing technologies, and will debut in-line windowing on the Mistral 110 A-2 CS. Bobst will also offer information on AccuBraille, a system for embossing Braille characters with the folder-gluer and information on Foilmaster 104, the fastest ‘flat-to-flat’ foiling press that offers both hot-foil stamping and diecutting in a single, affordable machine.
