Cal Poly To Hold Second Sustainability Conference

October 2008
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.—Cal Poly State University will host its second annual sustainability conference, The Business of Green Media, on Jan. 22, 2009 at the college’s Performing Arts Center.

The conference will be hosted by the Graphic Communication Institute at Cal Poly and produced by SustainCommWorld.

According to Harvey Levenson, head of Cal Poly’s Graphic Communication Department, “This is the year that printing press manufacturers, traditional and digital, have come to realize that sustainability is a selling point to existing and prospective customers. Customers want to know what their vendors are doing to support the environment and deliver sustainable solutions.”
