CCL Industries Purchases Rotocontrol Finishing Equipment

June 30, 2009
Ahrensburg, Germany—Marco Aengenvoort, managing director for Rotocontrol, announced a supplier contract with CCL Industries Inc. to purchase Rotocontrol finishing machines. The first machine will be shipping to CCL’s Chilly Mazarin plant in France.

Rotocontrol designs and manufactures inspection, slitting, rewinding and diecutting finishing machines for the narrow-web industry. Rotocontrol machines provide convenient and simple operator interface through graphical input and display, with easy access to all web viewing and handling areas.

“CCL is a global leader in the label and packaging industries and we are extremely excited about the chance to play an important role in their success through our advanced finishing technology,” states Aengenvoort.

Werner Ehrmann, vice president of technology development at CCL Label commented, “CCL has maintained a leadership position in the industry by continually innovating and exceeding our customer’s expectations. We needed a technology partner for our finishing machines that could keep pace with our expectations and were impressed with the philosophy and engineering advances that Rotocontrol offered”.
