TULSA, Okla.—Attendees from around the world logged on to explore the newest products in the converting industry at the inaugural CMM LIVE! virtual event. Held Feb. 11, the Internet-exclusive event gave attendees the opportunity to view virtual trade show booths, exclusive conference sessions and content, and participate in live Q&A sessions from key industry companies. A total of 303 registered attendees and exhibitors from around the world logged in to chat with each other during the day-long event.“We had excellent discussions in the networking lounge after each presentation, as well as very strong prospects spending time in our booth downloading our product information and clicking on links that taught them more about what we offer,” said Stephanie Tuggle of Maxcess International.
Stephen Pretto of Goldenrod Corporation added, “I was pleased with the outcome and believe it will serve as a good platform for future events. I have no doubt that the virtual trade show will continue to grow in size and scope.”
“The reaction to the first-ever CMM LIVE! has been overwhelmingly positive,” said MaryBeth DeWitt, CMM event director. “In these difficult economic times, CMM LIVE! gave attendees who may not have been able to afford traveling to a trade show the chance to receive an unparalleled experience they otherwise may not have been able to.”
