Cost to Address The Evolution of Printing at Outlook 06

October 2005
Frank Cost, Professor of Digital Publishing and Printing and Associate Dean of the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology will speak at PRINT OUTLOOK, the 25th annual NPES print industry forecasting conference. Drawing upon themes from his recently published book, The New Medium of Print: Material Communication in the Internet Age, Cost will examine how printing processes are evolving from mass-produced efforts by a line of skilled craftsmen to smaller, custom print runs by generalists using new digital technologies.

Join Cost and a Graphic All-Star team for this one and a half day conference discussing facts, trends and forecasts invaluable to printing, publishing and converting professionals. Themed "Finding the New Profit Path for Print," PRINT OUTLOOK will be held at the Hilton Arlington Hotel, December 1-2, 2005 in Arlington, Virginia just outside of Washington, DC. Hotel reservations must be received by October 28; thereafter reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. Call the hotel at 800/695-7487 and ask for the NPES/PRINT OUTLOOK rate.

Space at PRINT OUTLOOK is limited, so register (http://www.npes.org/conferences/register.pdf) right away and receive a $50 Early Bird discount before October 28!
