CPP Expo Solidifies 2007 Plans for Expansion in Las Vegas

January 2006
PARAMUS, N.J.—H.A. Bruno, LLC, organizers of CPP EXPO, have announced that the show will continue to expand its size and offerings with confirmed dates and location for 2007. The event will co-locate with PACK EXPO Las Vegas and PROCESS  EXPO (the re-formatted event launched due to the merging of IAFIS and FPMA trade associations) over the dates of October 15-17, 2007. The global trend of co-location of converting, package printing, packaging and processing solutions in one venue, under one roof will be demonstrated as never before.

Continuing to operate CPP EXPO together with PACK EXPO allows suppliers to reach thousands of converters and specifiers who already have PMMI's expositions on their list of must-attend industry events. Co-location offers converters one-stop-shopping from pre-press/printing machinery, materials and supplies to adhesives and coatings to slitting, rewinding and finishing equipment.

"After having success at the CPP EXPO Las Vegas inaugural event in 2005, exhibitors stated that being in the same venue with PMMI could only make participation that much more valuable.  We are pleased and excited that we are able to offer this - not only in Chicago in 2006, but also in Las Vegas the following year," said Leo Nadolske, president of CPP EXPO.  "Now, converting suppliers have choices that make sense for their marketing strategies and budgets. They can choose West Coast or Chicago - they can be in one or both events knowing that their decisions will save valuable marketing dollars as these events are the most cost-effective converting expos out there."

PMMI's PACK EXPO statistics indicate that 25% of their buying audience has an interest in viewing converting equipment and solutions; 40% have indicated an interest in materials while 38% specifically look for containers/packages. These are strong indicators that the buyers already making plans to attend PACK EXPO International will certainly make the Lakeside Center (housing both CPP EXPO and the PEI's Containers & Materials Pavilion) a focal point of their visit to McCormick Place.

"With our attendee demographics boasting significant interest in select industry segments that are represented in our pavilions or through expo alliances, we are pleased we can offer all that they are looking for - and more," stated Charles D. Yuska, president of PMMI.  "The ability to evolve and meet the needs of our membership, exhibitors and attendees on all levels and in all forms continues to be our goal.  Partnering with related industry by increasing our reach into non-traditional industry sectors.   We will continue to monitor current alliances and explore new opportunities that will physically demonstrate the supply chain in full."
