Cytec Announces Price Increases for Specialty UV/EB Monomers, Oligomers and Photoinitiators

WEST PATERSON, N.J.—Cytec Industries Inc. is increasing the prices of selected UV/EB curable specialty monomers, specialty oligomers, and photoinitiators in the Americas for orders shipped on or after Oct. 15, 2007.
Prices will advance between 5 to 7 percent depending on the product family, and as contracts allow. The increase is necessitated by the continued escalation in the cost of raw materials, especially acrylic acid, acrylic esters and polyols, and related energy, packaging and transportation costs.
