Digital Program At Gutenberg Draws Lots Of Attention

March 2005
RESTON, Va.—Major industry players in the digital sector have shown their support for the upcoming GUTENBERG & DIGITAL OUTLOOK, April 28 - 30, 2005 at the Los Angeles Convention Center by offering digitally-oriented educational sessions as part of a special program originated by Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC).

Large, digital products firms like Hewlett Packard, Adobe, Quark, Xinet and others have thrown their support behind this newly refocused event, lending visibility and credibility along with the expertise they bring with their participation in the educational portions and exhibit floor for the West Coast event.

Hewlett Packard has shown their strong support for the West Coast's premier printing event, by sponsoring two sessions, "Developing a Business Plan for Digital Print," and "Who's Making Money at Digital Printing . . . and How?" and presenting a session in the Exhibitor Presentation series entitled "The Power to Transform Your Business - HP Digital Printing Solutions". Xinet is sponsoring a special session as well, titled "Digital Prepress Futures." Adobe and Quark are expected to use this event as a vehicle for launching new products, raising visibility and gaining market share for their graphic design and file transfer software.

"We're very pleased to have high-quality, high recognition digital product companies like Hewlett Packard participating in our West Coast event, and feel that this will position them favorably within the graphic communications community as a strong supporter," noted Regis J. Delmontagne, President of GASC.

Companies offering a full range of products will be participating in the event, from prepress, design and file manipulation software companies to press manufacturers both traditional and digital, wide format imaging, bindery equipment companies, mailing, addressing equipment companies and many more, offering attendees a one-stop-shop for all their graphic communications investment needs. Nearly 40 educational seminars, almost half of which deal with digitally-oriented topics, will provide a complete digital education for print professionals searching for ways to improve the way they serve customers, or allow their business to run more smoothly and profitably.

UTENBERG & DIGITAL OUTLOOK is being held in the Los Angeles Convention Center, after over 30 years in Long Beach, California. More information, including online registration for the event can be found at www.gutenberganddigitaloutlook.com.
