Press Offers Seamless Changeovers

ELMHURST, Ill.—Bema Polytech recently ordered a 52˝ 8-color MIRAFLEX AM flexographic press from Windmoeller & Hoelscher  (W&H) Corporation.

According to W&H, the press is a lower cost solution for customers who run many small- to mid-sized jobs daily and need a press that yields quality print, while offering quick and seamless changeovers.

The line to be installed at Bema Polytech is capable of printing speeds up to 1,200 ft./min. and is equipped with EASY-SET for automatic impression setting, EASY-REG for registration, and TURBOCLEAN automatic ink supply and wash-up system that completes ink changes on all decks in fewer than five minutes.

Glen Galloway, president says, "We're busier than ever and found that we needed to replace an older press and expand our capacity. Most of our jobs are small- to medium-sized and require high print quality. It's critical to get jobs in and out quickly and efficiently, which is why we chose the MIRAFLEX AM."
