Fife to Host Sensor Selection E-seminar

OKLAHOMA CITY—Fife will a host a free “Tech-Tips” e-seminar on sensor selection Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. Users will learn about a wide range of sensing methods as they relate to application design and material type during the one-hour online seminar. Robby Ross will walk attendees through a wide variety of sensing methods and will also be available after the seminar for a live Q&A session.
Attendees will learn how to identify the proper sensing technology for their most common materials and basic rules for the selection of sensors in a web guiding application. The technologies will be broken down into analog vs. discrete and when it is best to use one over the other. Applications that use narrow-band sensors with sensor positioners will be compared to those with wide-band sensors.
