Environmentally Friendly Slitter

Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd. will demonstrate its 1650 mm (65˝) wide Titan ER610, a twin-shaft cantilever slitter that is an environmentally friendly slitting and rewinding solution. With a simple design enabling quick and easy installation, the ER610 has extended the Titan portfolio of slitter/rewinders by addressing the needs of converters processing lower volumes of flexible materials. Static System Monitor

Meech International will use ICE USA to launch the 904CM monitoring unit for its AC ionizing systems into the American market. The 904CM system is straightforward to fit and operate, and provides accurate monitoring of the performance of the emitter pins incorporated within the ionizing bars. The system consists of a power unit and monitor. The amber and red LEDs have adjustable percentage trigger points that can be set by the customer, while the analog output allows the output of the bars to be monitored off-line and the data logged for future analysis.—

Beta LaserMike will demonstrate the advantages of its LaserSpeed encoder over contact-type measurement methods for converting applications. The LaserSpeed system uses advanced, laser-based technology to precisely measure the length and speed of product during production without making contact with the moving material. Length and speed measurements are captured with better than ±0.05 percent accuracy.—
