ST. PAUL, Minn.—Impressions Incorporated has announced that it is a certified licensed 1.01 MetalFX® printer. The MetalFX® process is economical and a creative option for printers, designers and consumers. Impressions can now offer its customers millions of metallic color options.
Metallic adds a unique, attention-grabbing quality to any print job. Andrew Ainge, managing director of MetalFX® says, “MetalFX® is determined to bring the printing of metallics into the mainstream, and become the generic name for metallic printing worldwide.”
The MetalFX® process begins with MFX® base silver ink. On a second pass CMYK is printed over the MFX®. Colors range from deep, rich to light, pastel. Using MetalFX® allows Impressions to provide the increased appeal of metallics without the time and price of traditional methods. The MetalFX® license gives even the company’s small and medium size customers the option of metallic printing.
