Impressions Incorporated Selects Radius Solutions as MIS/ERP provider

November 2007
CHICAGO—Radius Solutions Ltd., an integrated business information management/enterprise resource planning provider for the packaging and printing industry, has announced that Impressions Incorporated is implementing the PECAS Vision software to support its long-term business objectives and provide a single integrated system to manage information across its entire operation.

The company spent more than five years going through a comprehensive due diligence process to select its fully integrated ERP application partner. More than twenty vendors were initially considered before targeting three final candidates for system demonstrations then reference check requirements. “There were no work-arounds needed; the PECAS Vision system was able to accommodate our operating requirements right out of the box,” said Mike Jorgensen, president, Impressions Inc.

In order to keep pace with customers’ needs, Impressions Inc. executives wanted to replace its existing in-house system—that provided limited visibility into operations, with a fully integrated manufacturing ERP System, to gain additional efficiency and streamline operations throughout the organization. The new solution also needed to provide flexibility, along with real time Business Intelligence to facilitate the executive decision making process.

Impressions Inc., will implement the entire PECAS Vision Suite including: Sales and Production Estimating, Order Handling, Production Scheduling, Shop Floor Data Collection, Job Costing, Purchasing, Material Movement, and Inventory Control. The application roll-out will start later this week and is expected to be complete across both of the organization’s facilities by the end of next year.
