IST America Celebrates First Anniversary in Newly Constructed Headquarters
It’s been just about a year since IST America relocated to its new headquarters in Shorewood, Ill., and things could not be better, says Bill Bonallo, VP of operations of the company.
In a press release, the company states, "We made the decision to purchase our own facility and custom configure it for our specific needs, rather than continue leasing. It was our desire to improve the best in class service and support we provide to our customers and give our employees a great place to do so. The new headquarters is well over twice the size of our previous one with a well laid out ample area for our expanded parts inventory and an in house rebuild center. The working office space has been designed with efficiency and comfort creating a relaxing and open environment. All construction was of course completed following current green guidelines for energy efficiency.
"The relocation also allowed us to combine the newest addition to IST’s global daughter company line up, ITL or Integration Technology Limited’s North American division with the IST America operation in Shorewood, Ill. ITL, a UV solutions developer headquartered in the U.K., specializes in the LED curing product line and smaller format conventional UV systems primarily for digital platforms. This arrangement was a logical approach and has created the most diverse platform of single source UV curing options in North America. Under one roof we have been able to effectively integrate our sales and marketing efforts with great success in this advanced and critically important marketplace. The end result has succeeded in enhancing our customers experience when dealing with IST and ITL."
