A&V Distributor for DigiFlex, Lüscher

BRYAN, OHIO—Anderson & Vreeland (A&V) has been appointed as a distributor for both DigiFlex prepress solutions in North America, and for Lüscher CtP systems for photoengraving sold throughout the U.S. and Canada.

DigiFlex equipment includes the FlexoJet 1725, a new inkjet system developed for narrow-web applications that applies an opaque mask on top of the analog plate, eliminating the need for negatives or costly laser platemaking systems. "We're excited to offer a very affordable digital solution for narrow-web plate processing that improves plate quality and productivity while reducing costs," said Darin Lyon, VP and general manager of A&V. "DigiFlex places us in the unique position to offer our customers alternative products and technologies for digital plate production."

Hezy Rotman, CEO of DigiFlex, comments, "We are delighted to have A&V as our partner for North America, and are certain that it will enhance our market presence."

Lüscher offers a combination of drum and flat-bed CtP systems and has experience gained from more than 2,000 worldwide installations. "Lüscher systems complement our innovative line-up of best-in-class computer-to-plate systems so we can serve a broader range of applications and markets," noted Lyon. "As we look to the future, A&V will continue to introduce technical innovation and forward-thinking solutions."
