Online Registration Opens For PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2007

March 2007
ARLINGTON, Va.—Packaging professionals from around the world can now pre-register for PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2007 to save 50 percent on entrance fees and avoid on-site lines. Being held October 15-17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2007 will feature more than 1,200 companies highlighting all facets of the $1 trillion global packaging industry, including advanced materials and containers and innovative machinery.

Attendees registering for the show via www.packexpo.com on or before September 24, 2007 will pay a discounted fee of $25 per person. Professionals registering online after September 24, 2007 or at the Las Vegas Convention Center will be charged the full admission rate of $50.

“Saving on the on-site cost is only part of the value of registering early,” explained Jim Pittas, vice president, trade shows for the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI), sponsor and producer of PACK EXPO Las Vegas. “Registering early ensures you can maximize the time you have in Las Vegas via the My PACK EXPO tool. There’s a lot of ground to cover in just three days, so every minute counts.”

During the registration process, each person completes a short profile. This data will be used to populate their personal My PACK EXPO Web portal that will be accessible 24/7 beginning eight weeks before PACK EXPO Las Vegas opens. The free portal enables attendees to find suppliers, manage their schedule, arrange booth appointments and locate relevant Conference at PACK EXPO sessions.

Paid registration offers attendees entrance to all PACK EXPO Las Vegas exhibits and special technology pavilions which include the Brand Protection Center, Containers & Materials Pavilion, Contract Packaging Pavilion, RFID Pavilion, and The Showcase of Packaging Innovations.

Attendees will also have access to the exhibits at two co-located shows. The Converting and Package Printing Expo (CPP EXPO) will showcase the latest in printing, coating, slitting and other state-of-the-art finishing processes while PROCESS EXPO will focus on the newest developments in food and beverage processing technology.

“In three days at PACK EXPO Las Vegas, you can make all of your purchasing decisions for the entire year,” added Pittas. “Between the technology pavilions and these co-locations, the entire industry is at your disposal in one place, at one time.”

PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2007 will host more than 25,000 decision makers including more than 2,000 international visitors from over 110 countries. Brand managers, marketers, designers, engineers, and R&D specialists will take advantage of the three-day event to discover the latest developments in packaging and converting machinery, materials, containers, and components.
