PackPrint to Make Global Debut at PRINT 09

August 21, 2009
RESTON, Va.—PackPrint, a trade show within-a-trade-show covering all aspects of package printing, will make its global debut this fall at PRINT 09, the year’s largest and most comprehensive global graphic communications exhibition and conference. Boasting 49,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, PackPrint offers products, services and information to help both veteran package printers and attendees seeking to enter the package printing market. PRINT 09 and PackPrint will take place September 11 - 16, 2009, in Chicago’s McCormick Place.

“Package printing is one of the fastest growing segments of graphic communications, so it only makes sense for PRINT 09 to feature the latest in package printing technologies and demonstrate for graphic communications professionals the business opportunities that exist in this area,” explained Ralph Nappi, president of the Graphic Arts Show Company. “By showcasing this diverse segment into one specialty tradeshow, we help attendees target their tradeshow strategy, maximize their time on the show floor and allow them ‘one-badge’ access to not just one, but two world-class events.”

PackPrint will feature products and processes from top vendors in the package printing market, in all areas of package printing, including:

- Digital printing
- Flexible packaging
- Converting
- RFID and printed electronics
- Labels: tape, tags, film and foil
- Folding/gluing
- Diecutting
- Substrates
- Supplies

PRINT 09 is expected to welcome more than 650 exhibitors demonstrating the entire gamut of printing-related equipment, products and services this fall. The global graphic communications show will fill the North and South halls of McCormick Place with the latest technologies in commercial and quick printing, publishing, high-volume transactional output, package printing and more.
