PPC’s Fall Meeting and Leadership Conference

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.—Record numbers of participants have already registered for the 2009 Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) Fall Meeting and Leadership Conference, taking place Wednesday, Oct. 28 through Friday, Oct. 30, at the Barton Creek Resort, Austin, Texas.
“The word is out,” said Ben Markens, PPC president. “These early registration numbers we’re seeing speak even more to the quality of the program we’re planning. They come at a time companies are taking a second look at every travel dollar they’re spending.”
The conference includes keynote David Scheible, president and CEO of Graphic Packaging International; session keynote Donna Harman, president and CEO of the American Forest and Paper Association; and the presentation of the 2009 Robert T. Gair Award, to Mark Graham of Bell Incorporated. The conference will give participants information and tools they can use, with a heavy emphasis on sustainability and the economy.
