Paxar/Avery Acquires ETI Cohesio Coating Line

Paxar Corporation, a subsidiary of Avery Dennison since March 2007, recently acquired an ETI Cohesio, an in-line silicone and adhesive coating line. The chairman and CEO of ETI Converting Equipment, Francois Bayzelon, said he is pleased to welcome Avery Dennison as a member of the ETI Technology Users. "Our revolutionary patented technology has completely changed the pressure-sensitive label manufacturing process. It enables printers to make their own pressure-sensitive material, to print under the adhesive, and to insert RFID antennae between layers. I think that Avery Dennison saw in our technology a good opportunity to reach this market."
