PRINT 05 & CONVERTING 05 Still Growing

August 2005
RESTON, Va.—The world's largest and most complete commercial, package printing, and converting event of 2005 continues to grow even as opening day draws ever closer, adding new exhibitors just weeks before the big show starts in Chicago.

The Graphic Arts Show Company, Inc. (GASC®), the event's producer, announced that 46 new exhibitors had signed up for the show in July alone. Among them are:

*   Apago, Inc., providing software for manipulation of PDF, PostScript and other files.

*   Globe-Tek, offering enterprise-level print management solutions.

*   NoviPack, a French maker of a wide range of packaging films and related products.

*   ECRM Imaging Systems, Inc., developers of workflow software and other prepress solutions

*   Print Revolution, a developer of e-commerce solutions for web-enabled ordering and tracking of print jobs.

"These new booth assignments are typical of the steady flow of inquiries and space reservations we have been receiving throughout the spring and summer," said GASC President Regis J. Delmontagne.  "Even though PRINT 05 & CONVERTING 05 has long since achieved the world-class proportions the industry expects of this show, we're pleased that we can still accommodate last-minute decisions to participate."

By the time the doors open, GASC expects exhibit space in the show to total around 725,000 square feet, occupied by roughly 800 companies.

Delmontagne commented that late show additions such as these bring something fundamentally different to the big show.  "When we first open the show to space reservations, our earliest bookings tend to be the industry mainstays, prominent companies who know from long experience how valuable the event is to their marketing efforts."

"These late decisions, on the other hand, are often industry newcomers, smaller firms, and others who have made a decision to reach out to the PRINT 05 & CONVERTING 05 audience," he continues. "Their addition brings new depth, variety, and a comprehensive scope to our exhibit halls, and we welcome them."

GASC notes that some exhibit spaces are available in PRINT 05 & CONVERTING 05, and interested companies should contact sales@gasc.org
