Radius Solutions and Sun Chemical Partner to Provide PRINTEASY®

June 2008
CHICAGO, Ill.—Radius Solutions Ltd. has entered into a strategic partnership with Sun Chemical’s Consulting Division, which is customizing and rebranding Radius Solutions’ PECAS Vision’s Shop Floor Data Collection for sale as PRINTEASY® for all printing markets. The solution is being launched at drupa.

PECAS Vision is a leading ERP/MIS system specifically designed to meet the unique requirements of the packaging and printing industries. It offers comprehensive business management capabilities from estimating, through production and cash receipt. Each part of the application suite can be used as part of the comprehensive solution, or can be implemented individually. PECAS Vision was developed using open technology to facilitate integration across plants and with other applications.

Sun Chemical has track record of success in helping printers and converters improve productivity. The company had developed a software data acquisition solution, installed at three printers. Under the partnership agreement, Sun Chemical has customized the PECAS Vision Shop Floor Data Collection application that will be marketed and sold as PRINTEASY® by Sun Chemical. The application contains out-of-the-box functionality requiring minimal or no modifications to fit the processes of all printing organizations. PRINTEASY® can be up and running very quickly and will automate collection of shop floor data and provide robust reporting capabilities for business performance analysis.
