RUCO Inks opens UV ink plant in Chicago area

WOOD DALE, Ill.—RUCO Inks of Eppstein, Germany announced the opening of RUCO USA in Wood Dale, Ill. RUCO USA carries the full line of RUCO UV inks. With this new plant comes an expansion of the full UV product line including the 080-UV dry offset ink, a low-migration, ITX-FREE ink suited for printing speeds of 600 pieces per minute, specifically for the decoration of food packaging cups.
The new RUCO 945-UV is a screen ink for printing plastics such as HDPE, PP, and PVC. It features higher pigmentation for better opacity than previous versions. The RUCO UVFX line of UV flexographic inks is also ITX-FREE, featuring low odor and can be used at printing speeds of of up to 450 feet per minute.
Along with existing lines of UV inks, RUCO USA is now able to offer complete solutions for all UV ink requirements.
