Second Annual Sustainable Package Design Workshop

Packaging Strategies’ is holding its Second Annual Sustainable Package Design Workshop & Designers’ Resource Expo on January 28, 2009 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, Clearwater Beach, Fla.

The Sustainable Package Design Workshop & Designer’s Resource Expo is designed provide package designers working across all package material types and structures with the practical knowledge necessary to conceptualize, design, and collaboratively deliver responsible, sustainable packaging from a total systems thinking approach.

Attendees will learn:
• Insightful guidance on systems thinking about responsible, sustainable design for structural and graphic package designers

• Expert guidance on how to approach responsible, sustainable design principles as a natural and logical extension of traditional package design

• Easy-to-understand case examples and practical exercises

The Designer’s Resource Expo will feature tabletop exhibitors displaying and demonstrating package design tools, materials, and other critical resources that will enhance the knowledge of structural and graphic designers.

In addition, the Sustainable Packaging Coalition will hold a co-located event—a special one-day Essentials of Sustainable Packaging Leadership Summary on January 27, 2009.
