Tools & Production Offers Wide Web Machine

TEMPLE CITY, Calif.—Tools & Production—which offers custom solutions that utilize unwind, punch, slit, perf, folding, conveying, stacking technologies to convert a moving web—recently manufactured a sophisticated system for a 20˝ wide printed web that included automatic registration to the printed web, precision high speed die cutting, and the shingling of six separate lanes onto multiple conveyors and stackers. The final product was then transported through a boxing and finishing line with individual boxes then being placed into final shipping cartons. This line will convert 2-1/2 to 3 million items per working day and significantly increased this customer’s productivity.
