TEMPLE CITY, Calif.—Tools & Production (T&P) has reported that former owner Bert Lamberti has passed away. Lamberti was instrumental in directing the company’s growth from 1976 to 1986 when he sold the company to Mark Andy, Inc. in a deal that represented a partnership of press and tooling manufacturers. He retired shortly afterwards.
The current owner, his son Mike, regained ownership of T&P from Mark Andy in 1996, and still runs the company. “Bert Lamberti was a pioneer in the punching industry and will be sorely missed,” T&P said in a recent statement. He is survived by his wife, Joan, daughters Cathi and Lynda, and son Mike.
