Unifoil Corp. Receives FSC and SFI Certifications

April 8, 2009
Fairfield, N.J.—Unifoil Corporation, a supplier of environment-friendly packaging and printing materials that create product differentiation, announced it has received chain-of-custody certifications from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) program. Unifoil is a global specialty converter of paper, board, synthetic paper, plastic, film, foil, and metallized and holographic substrates.

“FSC and SFI credentials are essential to customers and the consumer, who increasingly demand proof of environmental responsibility,” says Joseph Funicelli, CEO and President of Unifoil Corporation. “These certifications are the perfect complement to our value-added environment-friendly innovations, most notably our recyclable nonlaminated metallized UniLustre® papers and boards, which we have been manufacturing for over 15 years. We are very pleased to have our efforts supported by the FSC and SFI.”
